A QrJS (short for, and thus pronounced ‘rapidJS’) is a web application development framework that enforces a uniform plugin-based build interface. Using rJS progressively as a web server, build steps are moved behind the server interface.
rJS is open source and free to use for almost any purpose. Check out the applied license. It can be used in place of a traditional Apache server to build low-code, performant web applications – premised on JavaScript on the full stack.
The progressive rJS Server implements all production-ready features identified for common web applications. This includes to a range of security measures, as well as a refined and powerful clustering model for optimised performance.
rJS provides a simple to use CLI. While the APIs are available for advanced use cases, the CLI is the recommended interface for developing and administering a web application.
Contributions to rJS are very welcome. Consult the Contributing Guide on GitHub in order to get started as a contributor.
Issues – whether it is reporting a bug, or requesting a new feature – are tracked and discussed on the GitHub repository Issues tab. More general questions are suited as a Discussions.
